At British Swim School, we’re not just about teaching swim lessons—we’re on a mission to save lives while having a blast! 🏊‍♂️💦 Our team is full of fun, energetic people who are serious about water safety and making learning fun!

As a Swim Instructor, you’ll receive top-notch training to teach children and adults (starting at just 3 months old) in our gentle, fun, and progressive swim program. You’ll get a structured schedule, interact with kids, parents, and fellow instructors, and most importantly—make a difference every single day!

💼 What You’ll Do:

✅ Work closely with our Aquatics Manager & Business Owners
✅ Teach engaging swim lessons using British Swim School’s unique methods
✅ Maintain up-to-date certifications (we’ll help you get them!)
✅ Bring energy, enthusiasm, and FUN to every class!
✅ Work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays (3PM-7PM) and weekends (8AM-1PM)
✅ Be in the water for your entire shift—get paid to swim!

✔️ What We’re Looking For:

🌟 A fun and enthusiastic personality—kids love our instructors!
🏊‍♀️ Comfortable in the water (strong swimming skills are a bonus, but we can help you improve!)
📆 Available for weekdays (3PM-7PM) and weekends (8:30AM-2PM)
🎓 High school diploma (or currently working towards one)
❤️ Passion for working with kids & making a difference!

🚀 Bonus Points If You Have:

✔️ Experience working with children
✔️ Customer service experience (1 year preferred)
✔️ Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certifications (can be obtained during training)
✔️ 1-2 years of swim experience (preferred but not required)

As part of the British Swim School Team, you play a role in your local community, empowering others and sharing your passion. It’s a chance to be part of a fun-loving team of dedicated people who are committed to promoting water safety and a lifelong love of the water.

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
