The Position:
The Operations Manager oversees the “day-to-day” of the business, including interacting with customers, staff, and pool partners. The Operations Manager is fiscally responsible for all aspects of the business – managing staff, improving processes, vendor payments, daily expenses and ensuring the highest standards of service deliver.

This has the potential to be a full-time position reporting to the Franchise Owner.

Your Typical Responsibilities:

Lead, train, and motivate a team of instructors and support staff.
Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, class management, and facility maintenance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational policies.
Educate and promote services to our customers.
Develop and implement class schedules.
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all plans.
Manage inventory and monitor equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Willing to be trained on swim instruction programs and safety standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Have a responsible and professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s), may also be obtained during training.

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
