At British Swim School, we teach lifesaving skills—but it starts with a warm welcome, an encouraging word, and a well-run pool deck. As a Front Desk & Poolside Support team member, you’ll be the go-to person families trust to guide them through their swim journey.

You’ll work alongside instructors, assist with daily class operations, and make sure every family feels confident, informed, and cared for.

💦 What You’ll Do

You’ll be part greeter, part operations support, and part morale booster. Your job is to make sure families feel seen and supported while keeping the pool deck running smoothly and safely.

✔️ Greet families as they arrive and answer questions with a smile
✔️ Support class transitions—help students line up and move to the right spot
✔️ Track student attendance and help manage check-ins
✔️ Celebrate student milestones—ring the bell, take photos, hand out certificates
✔️ Set up and put away equipment before and after shifts
✔️ Communicate with parents about scheduling, program info, and student progress
✔️ Monitor safety, energy, and flow on the pool deck

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
