British Swim School of Greater Miami is looking for energetic, dependable, and positive Swim Instructors to join our team at our Doral location.
You don’t need years of swim-teaching experience to be a great fit. We’re looking for people with the right personality, reliability, and willingness to learn. We provide training in the British Swim School program and teaching methods.
What You’ll Do
As a Swim Instructor, you’ll spend your shifts in the water teaching swimmers important water-survival and swimming skills while creating a positive and encouraging experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching fun and engaging swim lessons
- Teaching water-survival and swimming skills using the British Swim School program
- Working with children of different ages and skill levels
- Keeping swimmers active and engaged throughout their lessons
- Encouraging students and celebrating their progress
- Communicating with parents about their swimmer’s progress
- Working closely with our deck staff and other instructors
- Following all safety procedures and teaching standards
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized pool environment
- Creating an experience that makes families excited to come back each week

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
