British Swim School – Delafield is hiring enthusiastic Weekend Swim Instructors to join our growing team!
We're looking for people who love working with kids, enjoy being in the water, and want to help children develop skills that could one day save their lives.
You don't need to be an experienced swim instructor to join our team! We'll provide paid training, ongoing coaching, and the support you need to succeed.
What You'll Do
- Teach engaging, safety-focused swim lessons to children of different ages and abilities
- Help swimmers gain confidence and develop essential water survival skills
- Make lessons encouraging, positive, and fun
- Build relationships with swimmers and families
- Celebrate accomplishments, big and small
- Work with a fantastic team that genuinely enjoys what they do!
Who We're Looking For

- Strong, confident swimmers who are comfortable in the water
- Dependable people who can consistently work scheduled weekend shifts

Experience in swim instruction, competitive swimming, coaching, childcare, or lifeguarding is a bonus — but not required!
Schedule & Compensation
Starting Pay: $20/hour
- Part-time hours- Saturday and Sunday 9:00am-noon
- Consistent weekend availability preferred
- Paid training provided

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.
We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
